Producing & Directing

Directors are the main creative force in the making of films, television shows, and plays. They are responsible for making a wide range of artistic decisions. Together with the producer, the director hires the actors and staff. It is the director who works with the staff from day to day. John Kereny is an experience in film and high definition video.




• Organizing all the essential support facilities for the production team.
•  Resolving the day-to-day problems of filming and coordinating the other activities (e.g., camera, sound, editorial and music);
•  Bringing the production in on budget,
• Organizing the location/set, props and equipment, accommodation and catering,
•  Developing storyboards;
•  Directing actors.
•  Managing technical details, such as camera shots and the use of lighting;
•  Making decisions about location and design;
•  Liaising with the producer at certain stages, for example, when editing the final ‘cut’;
• Managing the work of the other production staff and delegating tasks accordingly to realize the final production.
